The Toronto Maple Leafs scored five goals against the New Jersey Devils, but it wasn’t enough to secure the win as the Devils scored the game-winner with just over a minute to go in the high-scoring tilt. On a positive note, Auston Matthews added two more goals to his season total, taking him to 68 on the year.
