After being the Game 6 hero, William Nylander was the first player to score after 49 minutes of scoreless Game 7 hockey. The Toronto Maple Leafs’ lead was shortlived as the Boston Bruins answered back nearly immediately. Just like that, Game 7 would require overtime.
In what could only be described as a disastrous play, the Bruins ended the game early in the extra frame.
