Analyzing the pick
Pepoy was a low ranked player in this year’s draft, however he’s lauded for his motor and high work ethic. With the energizer bunny style he plays, he could make a career for himself as a tough bottom-six forward who can make an impact with lower minutes.
What’s next for Brody Pepoy
Pepoy is committed to Lindenwood University in the NCAA next season. This season will be a real test to see how he fares against real competition. We won’t know too much about Pepoy’s NHL projection until we see him in the NCAA, simply because he has just one OHL season under his belt.
